Anybody else notice the meme being pushed by the Reichwing: DON'T VOTE!
Edited on Mon Oct-18-04 11:23 AM by Walt Starr
Yep, through surrogate wingnuts, Rove is pushing a DON'T VOTE meme.

That tells you something. Turnout means Kerry wins. Overwhelming turnout means an overwhelming Kerry victory, thus the DON'T VOTE meme being pushed.

:grr:

9. My org was going to hire a skywriting firm to write 'VOTE'
over Las Vegas on 11/2, but none of them returned our calls.

Guess they want only the "right" people to vote

2. They do that EVERY election.
The polls skewed to show Bush way up read: "Bush winning anyway, so you may as well stay home"

Here in San Francisco, there are posters in some minority communities that say "Kerry: The OTHER White meat" Implying that Kerry and Bush are part of the same Oligarchic white power structure, so you'd best vote for XXXX or not vote.

That may well be, but oligarch or not, Kerry would SURELY be more competent and less reckless with the lives of our soldiers. That alone makes him worth a vote in my book.

3. Spot on friend,
Ever since stories started circulating about record numbers registering, the Bush camp, and it various lackies and funtionaries have been pumping out the DON'T VOTE line, something along the line that if you are unable to decide, are can't come up with a good reason, do not vote.

Bushco is terrbily frightened of this tidal wave of new voters crashing down on them. They realize that many many people realize how critical this vote is, and are mustering the energy to get out and vote against him. Yes, I would estimate the majority of Kerry voters are voting AGAINST Bush, not FOR Kerry(I fall into this camp). But either way, Bush realizes that he is toast unless he does something to stem this tide.

We will be seeing more and more of this particular line in the next couple of weeks.

5. I got a GOP automated call telling me to vote early, etc.
So I don't think it's a GOP think nation-wide.

I know the Democrats WILL vote and it doesn't matter what the SOB repukes say. THIS election is too important to stay home. I think EVERY Dem knows that.
