During the debates there have been a few times I blurted out my answers. I thought others might have some pent up responses, as well. There were more of them but I can't think of them right off.

How very ironic that my attendance would be considered an issue from an administration that has taken x days of vacation/holiday, y days on get away to Camp David…etc. Perhaps, you might want to re-visit the data and THEN talk to me about distinguished.

Certainly, you wouldn't honestly, be implying a parallel of Sub Chapter S corporations, a valid business classification for many years, to the unethical, if not illegal, tax evading off-shore shelters and back-alley business transactions of Haliburton?

Safer? From all indications your confidence in the nation's safety is not strong. Our nation has never cowered behind barriers and walls in the nation's capitol before now. During your watch we have been instructed to view those with almanacs, scuba divers, non-Caucasians wielding cameras and numerous others with suspicion.

I understand why you maybe fearful since you have been unable to capture bin Laden, the anthrax murderer and Omar. Not to mention that in spite of the ever-touted expansion within the patriot act, numerous arrests, detentions, and torture we have yet to convict anyone on terrorist related charges. On the other hand, we will not continue to live in the grip of fear from our inabilities to overcome. We intend to re-claim our freedoms and our lives. We will not continue to allow the terrorist maintain the grip they have had over our lives the past four years.

Yes, I remember, too, the early days when there was an effort for the democrats and republicans to work as a team. You are correct about the efforts, it was a refreshing experience. Odd you don't know what became of such……. Unfortunately, the republicans opted not to keep the effort up once they achieved the majority status. They instead have chosen to steam-roll their agendas through off-session voting, gerrymandering, and all the other strong-armed tactics which do not result in meeting of the minds.

You claim that the tax cuts we are proposing to roll back will impede job creation. It is difficult to believe that there is a relationship, in that the surplus has been given and there are still no jobs. Please explain why, since your position is the tax cuts is to encourage job growth, why there is not one single condition or contengency to ensure that happens. Exactly what are the goals of these tax cuts, if not for jobs? Why the blatent give-away? Where are the saftey nets?

Okay, let me see if I have this correctly. The September attacks of the WTC occurred because of problems within the system. Wrong intelligence was presented resulting in a grievous attack on another nation, bin laden's escape, miscalculations on the ground, fiscal irresponsibility, and millions of dollars unaccounted for from the provisional authority. To correct these issues how many people have been relieved of their duties? How can incompetence, such as the last four years be allowed to stand?

The first two lines are intended to be an introduction of sorts. The remainder are what I wanted to say in response to Cheney and/or Bush's assertion (most are from the later debate since it is freshest in my mind).

Fuming at the TV and providing my own responses are much more therapeutic than having my head explode (which is what it wants to do when faced with such surreal examples of arrogance and hypocrisy). Kerry and Edwards certainly didn't need my help in responding but that didn't stop me from wanting to "say my piece". I thought other people might have had the same overwhelming desire to chime in on the answers.
