Bush The Bubble Boy
In Yahoo News.......

WASHINGTON (AFP) - Some critics and supporters of US President George W. Bush (news - web sites) agree on an intriguing explanation for his poor showing in his first debate with Democratic rival John Kerry (news - web sites): Blame it on the White House "bubble."

The term refers to the protective layers of aides, spokespeople, Secret Service security and supporters that encase the modern US president, keeping reporters, hecklers and threats away from the chief executive.

He has held fewer press conferences than any modern president -- including his father, former president George Bush (news - web sites) -- and aides who disagreed publicly with him have generally recanted swiftly and humbly or left the administration.

At least one senior campaign adviser, speaking two days before the first Bush-Kerry debate, seemed to suggest that Bush's considerable debating skills might be rusty from lack of use since taking office in January 2001.

There ids one other reason they don't talk about in the article.....that Bush is stupid, is not an analytical thinker, does not have a smooth command of the English language, loses his train of thought, and has no clue what he is talking about.

So maybe he is in a bubble. I prefer to think of him as a bubble head.

1. jubal harshaw called them "flappers" (in stranger in a strange land) when
he talked about the people who guarded a potentate and decided when, IN THEIR OPINION it was permissable to pass information on to him.

4. "Lives in a bubble" is an excellent meme.
We need to try to get that one out there. Use it in conversation, use it in LTTE, use it whenever possible.

"George Bush lives in a bubble, and has no idea what's going on in the real world."

"That kind of thinking makes sense, if you live in a bubble."

"Bush is coddled by his advisors. He lives in a bubble, where everything is going perfectly, and is blind to the truth of the Iraqi situation."

5. As Martin Sheen once famously said, "He's not what you would describe
as 'intellectually curious'". :0

6. Incurious George just doesn't give a f*ck - he's right no matter what.
This is the rock-hard stupidity of self-righteous shit-heads. There's no amount of FACTS that will move them off the dime. It's a total and complete waste of time to assail that kind of stupidity. It's a balck hole of stupidity that will just suck up all light.

Lord Acton knew it centuries ago ... (see my sig line).

7. I found that to be utter bullshit...
.. how many of us don't debate on a regular basis, but would not look postively DERANGED as he did the other night? He PREPARED for the debates, and that's the best he could do?

I think it IS awesome that they're addressing his phobia about hearing anything negative.. that was awesome. But I don't buy his bad performance on that.. I believe he has some sort of condition, and that is WHY they won't let him take his physical before the election!! Many candidates have been fucking destroyed politically by refusing to take physicals, or have bad medical info out before an election. We have Ticky Dick as VP, and a pResident that WON'T take a physical!! HE was supposed to back in AUGUST!!

10. Paul O'Neill described Shrub perfectly
when he recounted his first one on one with Shrub after being appointed Treasury Secretary. O'Neill said he went into the meeting prepared with a list of the things he wanted to accomplish at the Treasury, hoping to get Shrub's input on it and was shocked to find that Shrub was not the least bit interested in discussing anything about his job. He said Shrub just blankly stared at him as he went through his plan and asked no questions.

Then according to O'Neill he said something to the effect of "well if you need any help call Andy Card". O'Neill left the meeting dumbfounded and said in all his years as a business executive, he'd never come across a guy more disconnected from his job.

Later he characterized the way Shrub conducted cabinet meetings as being "a blind man in a room full of deaf people".

It's amazing how Shrub's Handlers and RNC mouthpieces have been able to hide the truth that Shrub is nothing more than a petulant, lazy, empty-headed, moron--at least from most people.

The good news is John Kerry is finally exposing this Fraud and people are beginning to talk about it.
