Perle's Head About to Spin Off!
Anyone watching Charlie Rose? Perle says Saddam was BLUFFING about the WMDs. He TRICKED us. Also, Saddam got the wrong kind of aluminum tubes ON PURPOSE, to TRICK us.

2. Any president who can be tricked into going to war...
... does not deserve re-election.

Simple as that.

10. Perle makes my skin crawl.
I'm watching it, and he looks like a disgusting pasty slug.

Make-up must have worked overtime on those circles around his eyes.

And yes, he should be tried, convicted and hanged for treason.

5. DAMN YOU SADDAM!
He made us throw 1000+ US soldiers on the fire and $200 billion into the abyss...damn him. Thank goodness no unscrupulous companies that war profiteer are benefitting from Saddam's devious trickery.

6. Gee.
I feel better now knowing that the President of the United States was TRICKED by a 3rd rate dictator. I guess that's why Bush should have continued the U.N. weapons inspections like the whole world wanted him too.

Anyway, didn't Saddam say again and again that he didn't have any WMD's? Christ, a 3rd rate dictator is more honest than this nation's President.

7. I can beat the shit out of any of you. Come on, I dare you all!
Bring your tanks. Bring your airforce.

Ha, it'll be sooo funny when you bomb the living daylights out of me, and I lose power.

I'll be laughing my ass off knowing I'll either be killed during capture, possibly tortured and have to face an international tribunal.

But it will be worth it, knowing I tricked you.

--- yeah, right...

11. Jeez, your post reminded me of
the Monty Python sketch: "C'mon, I dare ya, hit me, c'mon, what are ya, chicken?" It's (sort of) a cartoon and this guy with a derby and mustache is hacking away at the loudmouth until he's nothing but a head bouncing on the ground, still yelling- "C'mon, you coward, hit me."

8. That is so pathetic..
and illogical to boot. Saddam blew smoke up Chimpy's piehole on purpose to invite invasion? Who's blowing smoke up whose ass? Perle wants us to believe that a ruthless power-monger like Saddam wanted to be invaded and deposed? So Perle, my dear, Chimpy isn't just stupid, he's incompetent to boot. Thanks for clearing that up for us.

9. I have to admit ...

I didn't see that one coming.

This whole administration has completely reoriented my understanding of what desperation is. I have never in my life seen such a large cadre of government officials act so utterly asinine or spout such ridiculous garbage. What's worse, I truly never realized the willingness of such a large portion of the American public to swallow, look past, or even applaud this.

Germany in the 1930's makes more and more sense to me every day. I hate saying that and it not being hyperbole.

13. Well I did say all along that the reason the Bushes needed to get rid of
Saddam was that he outsmarted them SO MANY times...even now I guess.

14. So, mister "Prince of Darkness", the critics were right.
Isn't it strange that only the neocons and their supporters/enablers were tricked, but not the UN nor nations that are not part of the "coalition of the willing"?

And the forged Niger Yelowcake papers, where those also part of Saddams trickery?
