Edited on Wed Oct-06-04 10:52 AM by noahmijo
Hard work is busting your ass for a 4 year degree and then being told there are no jobs, (my degree is in IT by the way and the college I graduated from was ranked 3rd only below MIT and Carnegie by the way) and then to boot having a nice line of debt.

THAT'S hard work asshole. trying to find a decent job when they are scarce and being a person of no real experience this task is made even harder.

It's a little harder than spending most of your time fishing or golfing wouldn't you say you yuppie putz!

I'm sure all of you on here have your own hard work stories some of them worse than mine, but this one's mine.

1. Hard work is also busting your ass 12 hours a night
in a critical care ward of a hospital for 20 years and having to quit because of ruined knees and a trashed back and finding out that all the jobs you'd counted on when you got too sick to do bedside nursing have been shipped to India.

2. hard work is also
working 2 sometimes 3 jobs just to pay the bills and not having the time or money to afford college. Not only is it hard work it sucks I decided to hell with having the American Dream a long time ago!

I sometimes think at least I don't have the added expense of paying back a college loan that the woman or man that's busting their butt as hard as I am has too.

That to me is a crying shame and I feel that persons pain near about as much as I do my own what a mess.

I despise people like Bush* he gets every opportunity and he's still a failure what a waste! Give me a quarter of what his Mommy and Daddy spent on him and I would be a huge capitalistic success!

5. Raising two kids on $6.25 hr
working one job and two part time jobs to make ends meet, never being home to see the children grow, feeling sad when one day they are grown and gone and having missed all the quality time I could have spent with them because I couldn't afford a quality education and wasn't born with a frickin silver spoon in my mouth. Bush is no one I respect as a leader or a man.
