FOX Busted Again: Had to Post Another Retraction

Just look at the headline on the story "Some Voters Still Flip-Flopping" which is another un-needed shot at Kerry that a real news outlet should not be doing.

And how could they believe a group called communists for Kerry is for real, they must think we are stupid to believe that one, or they thought they could get away with it.

FOX has gone off the deep end, what little credibility they had is now down to zero. They have sold out to the RNC and the Bush campaign.

Can you imagine what the Republicans would say if CNN posted a story on their web site from a group called Nazi's for Bush, and claimed it was a real group.

It would be on FOX 24/7 for a week, maybe 2 weeks.

------------------

On October 2, FOXNews.com ran a story by Jane Roh quoting Communists for Kerry without revealing that it was really a Republican Parody organization. Hours later, FOX printed this correction on its website:

"In a version of this article that was published earlier, the Communists for Kerry group was portrayed as an organization that was supporting John Kerry for president. FOXNews.com’s reporter asked the group’s representative several times whether the group was legitimate and supporting the Democratic candidate, and the spokesman insisted that it was. The Communists for Kerry group is, in fact, a parody organization."

FOX News has sunk to a new low with this "explanation." Reporting 101 says you should always check your facts, particularly when espoused by a spokesman. Not only did the reporter not do that, neither did the editor, apparently, because the very story in which Communists for Kerry appeared, contains a link to the group's website which makes it pretty clear the group is not pro-Kerry.

You can contact reporter Jane Roh at 212-556-2500, hit 4 for directory, then 7645 or Email [email protected]. Tell them that's no excuse!

1. Hopefully, 'they are all going down together. Cabal PNAC Cabinet Fox
and one day - all the other right wing propaganda networks.

If they would admit that they are primarily a propaganda entity, OK. Then, the FEC should not put any roadblocks in the way of other party propaganda networks. But, it's just another divisive path. Today, it's all about hypocrisy. deception, and loss of journalistic ethics and quality.
