1. Sucked the air right out of the freepers at work
On Thursday, they were crowing that they couldn't wait to see Kerry flip-flopping all over the stage like a fish out of water. Friday, they said not a word. Finally, someone asked them point-blank what they thought. One said he still supported *, but Kerry had done a very good job. The other said he'd taped the debate but hadn't watched it yet (yeah, right), but his impression was the Kerry had done well.

Their cockiness is gone!
