Jack & Bobby
Is it just me? Am I the only sucker for heartstring-tugging tear-jerking TV? I barely turn on the TV anymore but this is one of those shows that caught my interest. Am I a hopeless emotional target or what?

2. This is a pretty rough representation
Bobby is pressured into an accelerated learning class by Mom. Mom is cornered into an overnight bonding trip for the faculty. Jack gets suckered into having a party while Mom's away. Bobby tries to bond with the accelerated learning classmates by trashing the custodian's office(boiler room). Jack gets caught in the closet with the blonde bimbo during the party after Bobby distracts the deans daughter. Bobby drops out of the accelerated learning program and bonds with the custodian. Mom bust's Jack for the party and learns that Jack should have been in the accelerated learning program but wanted to be more normal.
It sounds like a standard sitcom storyline, but the presentation is engaging for someone like me.

4. Thank you! And don't feel you have to apologize --
this is a very brave show WB is airing, and it's heart is exactly in the right place. I wish it the very best.

3. I like the flash-forwards
the Paul Sorvino character (speaking in 2041) makes a reference to the "War of the Americas", where his son "died on the border."

6. Anybody else watch "Jack & Bobby," 9 Eastern Sunday? It's deserving...
of our support. WB lets this family wear Kerry buttons, and the series is about greatness, and politics, and, I think, what this country should be. It's creators include a "West Wing" veteran, and a former Clinton staffer, who based the concept in part on conversations with Bill about his boyhood.
