It looks like Freerepublic is going to be a running theme in the Guardian's Diary page. Tim Dowling describes freepers as "crazy rightwing nerds".

He also lays down a challenge - getting banned in less than two minutes!

that is a wonderful idea to throw before republicans, that a vote for bush is a vote for hillary in 2008.

3. Not surprised, really, but what...
...did he expect? Our Mods surely don't tolerate disruptor's here either, as well they shouldn't. I would hope that the DU mods would ban some disruptor from, say, The Wall Street Journal or New York Post within that same "two minute" time frame, if they ever showed up.
Can't really see much to get outraged about here.
