Another true life example of the cockeyed world americans live in.
The foreman at our ranch has another job (Of course because no one can make enough money ranching or working on a ranch if that is his/hers only source of income.) Well, hunting seasons is here. That foremen gets paid to manage the hunters. The company this person was working for at his other job has closed down because the work is all going to CHINA. (Does he think that bush might have something to do with the problem??? No way. bush is the godly guy that has protected and saved our country.) So this person who is now collecting unemployment from big government wants me to not report his income so he can get paid by me and get unemployment pay. I declined not only because it is wrong but also because I am not willing to put myself on the line to get busted by the IRS. Well, last night, I was going to write the checks for him and his wife and asked the foreman's wife to wait so I get them done and what does she tell me, "I can't wait, I have to go hear Pres. Bush speak." Does any one else SEE the complete and utter stupidity and idiocy of this??? I told my daughter about this and she was astounded at the irony that these people cannot see what is happening and had happened to them since that idiot came to our state and now the country. PLEASE GET RID OF THIS VERMIN!!!!

1. Every where I turn! I can't hack a lugie without hitting
someone whose life has been turned upside down by Bushco yet still supports the vermin (good word).

I'm in Tx where teachers and professionals on the school are getting the shaft and their licenses are in danger; we've got industrial plants laying people off because they are shiping jobs to China. The cost of everything is going up while wages are falling and benefits are being discontinued. They just don't get it that he doesn't give a shit about them.

3. I was so angry that I purposefully wrote the checks and took them over
during the idiot's speech, standing outside so I did not have to see or hear that evil. Of course, she came outside to get the checks and stayed to chat. Brains are not big in the bush supporters' department. I must repeat that daily in order to function. It is not my duty/job to try to educate these idiots. All it does is make me mad and it NEVER makes any difference.

4. it's called cognitive dissonance.
There's also some research out of berkeley that serious neo-cons have stunted moral development and delayed moral reasoning.

Best with them... maybe you can convince them not to bother voting??

8. That seems to be accurate...
It seems as if they disassociate their problems, lack of job, crappy economy, jobs going over seas, etc, with moron. Like he's not a part of it. It's blinding logic.

"hmmm, my job just went over seas...I voted for bush. It's not his fault that they left. It's a free country...but then again, isn't he in charge? I like him though, he's a regular guy"

yeah a regular guy that failed in 4 business attempts...hey that's it!! the unemployed repukes relate to moron, because they feel they are out of work and moron is the kind of boss they had that put them out of work!!! There it is!!!

fucking assholes.

10. They can't admit to themselves that they made a mistake backing him;
It's kind of a team thing... When they realize that he's to blame, then there's a part of themselves that agrees with him on a couple of issues that is also to blame.

Psych researchers spend tons of braincells trying to figure out cognitive dissonance. It's tough.

5. It is to be Expected,
G.W. was born without eyelids. The only skin thin enough to use to make them is on the foreskin. They did that operation and now he is COCKEYED.

6. Also typical of a repug to ask you to do something you
shouldn't to benefit them. you can bet the repugs in Florida will be screaming for their gov checks when the wind dies down. They just don't get it; they think they are entitled, but no one else. They are really tiring.

7. Call him on it
Edited on Sat Sep-04-04 12:16 AM by manic expression
calmly tell him the plain truth of how Bush has completely screwed him over. If he doesn't accept it, fine, but at least you tried.

11. I work at a non-profit...
Half the employees (Repuke half) are former dot.com and Boeing workers who were fired from $30+ an hour jobs. they're making $12 an hour now, but are adamant about supporting Bush*! The Dem and Libertarian half of the office are incredulous! We have given up after beating ourselves against the immutable wall of illogic. Thse folks have lost $100,000 in salary since the Chimp's selection, but still see him as their salvation? Mind boggling....
