As I posted earlier, my husband and I resubscribed to cable because it looks like the BFEE is going DOWN--at least part of it--and I want to watch. (teehee)

Anyway, the cable lady said that LOTS of people are getting cable now and saying that they are doing it because of what is happening with Bush and politics.

It's happening...it's really happening. The American people are waking up and they are not liking what they are seeing.

instead of the crappola that they currently offer.. You do know , don't you, that the Discovery,CourtTV,History, TLC, A&E, and most others have been "clearchannelized for your safety"...

When we first got cable years ago, they were all independent channels and had really interesting stuff on.. In the last few years they have morphed into "all Dateline snippets repackaged as "new" shows" all the time.. Court TV is almost entirely ancient tv show reruns..TLC is rerun heaven too.. History has woonderful features too like Ronald Reagan love fest day..

It's almost unwatchable ..

Dish - WorldLink & NWI (NewsWorldInternational (CBC) are all the news I watch anymore - well once-in-a-while BBC on PBS...WorldLink & NWI both carry 'Journal' from Germany. Good stuff.

2. These are my favorite kinds of threads...

they give me hope to go on!!! I loved the one about the bumper sticker the other day, and the one about how every one's parents are dissing Bush. I hope people will post everthing that happens to them like this, no matter how small. Thanks. Tomorrow I will search this out and kick it if it's not still on page 1.
