Would It Make Sense For Vets To Toss Their Medals Again ???
Now I'm not a Vet, so I have no judgment or agenda here. And my intention is not to offend. But since the Smearboat Vets and the Republican stooges seem to be questioning and dishonoring Kerry's service record, and by proxy, EVERY vets service record...

would it be an effective protest if willing Vets, angered by this pathetic political ploy, went to the rePuke Convention, Congress, the Pentagon, etc... and threw their medals back at them for allowing this broadstroke smear???

Just wondering how any Vets here feel.

1. I'm not a vet but I think those vets that rightfully earned
medals have to hate seeing their service and valor and heroism cheapened by these paid-for smear boat liars for bush*. Those people should have their decorations stripped from them for dragging the dignity of the entire U.S. Navy through the mud like this. How dare they continue this charade.

2. I'm not sure what net effect it would have...probably none for me I tossed
mine out many years ago (not as any sort of political statement, just had no use for them.) But seems to me they're personal property and people can do whatever they want with them....

3. Yeah... I'm Not Sure If It Would Have Any Effect Either.
On the one hand, having groups of pissed off Vietnam Vets leave their medals at the base of the Vietnam Memorial would be symbolically powerful.

On the other hand, trying to shame the shameless (rePukes) is apparently a waste of time and energy.
