OK protesters ... just what if they turn violent?
and how violent are yall thinking it might get?
scuffles I'm not worried about.. the only thing I'm worried about is looting... riots ... those types of violence... do you really think it will go that way?
when we say violence what are yall talking about what level?
would "scuffles" be that bad?
and how many protesters are there going to be "about" in NYC?? tia

1. no, there'll only be a few random isolated bits of violence
and for the most part, the protest will be peaceful. I think there'll be over a million people.

don't ever get violent or the police can lawfully and rightfully kick the crap out of you. I think most protestors know that by now though.

There were HUGE protests in NYC (and all around the world by the way) in the run-up to the Iraq War, and they weren't violent! Not the ones in NYC, not the ones in Washington D.C., not in London, not in San Francisco.

They were always peaceful. Now I don't know for sure it won't be violent this time as well, but if it does occur, it will be by a small group of ne'er-do-wells, and there will be hundreds of thousands of regular, law-abiding citizens, not to mention police officiers who will exert a large amount of peer and/or physical pressure on them to calm the hell down.
