Poll question: If you lived in Venezuela, how would you vote on the recall today?
look at the cheap and shallow tactics the opposition is using:

I vote no! Viva la Chavez!

1. Cheap and shallow
Figures. She's wearing designer clothing. Most people in Venezuela can't afford that. Most people who can't afford it are supporting Chavez; most people who can are supporting the Bushies.

3. I was going to vote no until I saw that
Sure, call me cheap and shallow.

Venezuela really needs a third way. Though the opposition is more to blame for the current situation that Chavez. The US has of course been a negative too.

4. "The US has been negative too"
I'd call manuevering a coup that was reversed by popular demand, supporting an economy wrecking months long strike by the rich and now supporting the move they won with in CA - a recall being a bit more than "negative."

This election is clear cut. Venezuelans are choosing between having control over their own resources or letting Busholini control their resources.

No time to brag about your uninformed, cheap superficiality, King.

7. I may be cheap and superficial but
I ain't uninformed. Chavez deserves to win this referendum because the opposition is ill-defined at best and highly undemocratic at worst. Doesn't mean Chavez has done a particularly good job running Venezuela even taking into account the obstacles put in his way. If he wins and especially if he wins big then the opposition will actually have to develop a program that will benefit all of Venezuela at the same time Chavez will have an opportunity to be a little more inclusive. Not every one displeased with him is part of the old corrupt oligarchy.

27. Careful your ignorance is showing.
First off, Venezuala is not a communism anymore than we are a democracy. (which we arent, if you are confused about that as well)

Why dont you go educate yourself on what communism is rather than taking US propaganda from the cold war as fact.

Is to vote for the control of Venezuela by US based multi-national corporate pillagers i.e the BushCo - Carlyle - Helliburton crowd.

20. When you say "most people", you imply democracy
The fact that Chavez enjoys the support of his people should tell you something. The people have chosen correctly.

Socialism is wrong and capitalism is right, eh?

Well not everyone in this world agrees with that. And your second sentance is just utter nonsense. Im getting tired of people who have no idea of what socialism is making silly claims about it. Begging is not a part of the ideal socialist system anymore than it is a part of the ideal capitalist system, and considering the fact that during an average weak I run into 10 or more people begging for money im not sure you are in any position to throw stones.
