Crowd Of 20,000 Watching Kerry In Grand Rapids, MI.
I'm listening to his speech and JK said "this crowd of 20,000 is great". Words can't describe how big a crowd of 20k is in GR. Amazing!

BTW I am surprised at how loose and interactive JK is in this speech. It's very nice to hear.

2. I bet they haven't been screened to cull non-supporters
10,000 would be a great turnout. 20,000 is unbelievable. People want to hear his vision for America, not just ABB.

6. No Audible...
boos or hisses toward JK yet. Once again, I am surprised at how personable he is sounding. He sounds like his off the cuff remark about Bushgang being the most crooked bunch of liars ever.

14. Again the media is ignoring the fact
that everywhere Kerry/Edwards go, huge crowds are turning out.

Plus these crowds don't need to sign loyalty oaths, just to be allowed in.

Screw the polls, the pictures of all of these crowds tell a much different story.

Here's W at his last campaign appearance:

Here's the crowd at Bowling Green, Ohio, yesterday for Kerry/Edwards.

16. That is really huge for Bowling Green.
It IS a college town, but I would consider the general area to be fairly conservative.

18. Wow. A crowd of 20,000 is phenominal, a crowd of 20,000 for a Democrat
IN GRAND RAPIDS, MICHIGAN, is surely a sign of the end times!

I can only say one thing;

Kerry Landslide

10. Wasn't Stupidhead just in Grand Rapids?
You think we'll hear any "analysis" from the media of the respective crowds for the two candidates? Or is it somehow not valid to report that Kerry's drawing larger, more enthusiastic, unscreened crowds of supporters?

13. Kerry spoke to thousands
The article about Kerry's visit at the same website just says "Kerry then spoke to thousands of people at a rally at Calder Plaza."

http://www.woodtv.com/Global/story.asp?S=2110785&nav=0RcdPM6b

No way to compare that to Bush's 5000. On the other hand, no mention of protesters during Kerry's visit.

And they may update the article with more precise numbers later...

15. Perhaps this is akin to the crowd of a "few" thousand
that showed up for Kerry in Scranton, PA (per the AP). Of course, if "a few thousand" can be defined as 15,000 the AP got it right.

19. The media sucks
Friday morning I woke up expecting to see comments on the news about Thursdays acceptance speech by JK. Instead the idiot was on, some speech in Springfield, I think. Saturday the same thing. Today, the same thing. Yet, almost no mention or very little of the Kerry/Edwards campaign. Isn't there some sort of rule that has the networks broadcast the same amount of time for one candidate as they do for the others?

None of the dems are home, they all went out to see Kerry.

23. LOL ..true!..This is like Bush Sr./Bill Clinton replay..same size crowds..
Just WHO is GALLOP polling anyway? This doesn't make any sense..Crowds of 20,000 + at Kerry's feet..and a couple thousand prescreeded diehard fundies stand there for GW Bush.
And GALLOP wants us to believe that this race is too close to call??
So much for the credibility of the GALLOP POLL.

Now if Diebold really wants to scam this nation by throwing the election to Bush, with Scalia casting the final deciding vote, I do wonder what noise these tens of thousands and these millions will make.
