Bush Using Drugs to Control Depression, Erratic Behavior
this is from Capitol Hill Blue so I don't know about the accuracy of this but...

what do you guys think...hope this isn't a dupe...

Bush Using Drugs to Control Depression, Erratic Behavior

President George W. Bush is taking powerful anti-depressant drugs to control his erratic behavior, depression and paranoia, Capitol Hill Blue has learned.

The prescription drugs, administered by Col. Richard J. Tubb, the White House physician, can impair the President’s mental faculties and decrease both his physical capabilities and his ability to respond to a crisis, administration aides admit privately.

“It’s a double-edged sword,” says one aide. “We can’t have him flying off the handle at the slightest provocation but we also need a President who is alert mentally.”

Tubb prescribed the anti-depressants after a clearly-upset Bush stormed off stage on July 8, refusing to answer reporters' questions about his relationship with indicted Enron executive Kenneth J. Lay.

2. Total nonsense...
CHB is the Drudge equivalent to the left. I hardly think what they say is worth posting here unless you want a good laugh....

4. Read their FAQ...
So who writes the stories?
Whoever can get to a keyboard on a given day. Plus we have stories from various wire services and other sources.

Can I write something for Capitol Hill Blue?
Good question. Can you? Blue welcomes submissions with the understanding that we may read it, we may just laugh at it, or we may toss it in the bytebox so that it never darkens our hard drive again. If we do use it, we'll pay you what everybody else gets around here: nada. Just send it to [email protected] and take your chances.

9. I doubt that it's depression and anxiety.
I think it's another type of brain damage.

10. for some reason though...
I believe there may just be some sort of truth in what it's saying...I mean look at how he acts...some days he seems sharp and somewhat alert...other times he seems so aloof and distant...
I have noticed that sometimes during a press conference he stumbles and often stares off into space for short periods of time...

And don't recovering alcoholics suffer from a form of depression...?
I had a family member who was a recovering alcoholic and was put on prozac because of depression...

Maybe it's true...maybe it's not...but his actions sure do speak loudly that something isn't right in his head...
