1. They know, access can be denied easily
and the Democrats have about twelve years of being pissed off at the media that the media will have to overcome in a new Democratic era.

Remember, the Democratic motto is Be Positive.

I agree that the sleazy-ass networks have got to be sweating right now. The sweat stains are getting bigger under their arms....as they ponder a Kerry win this fall.

What will they do then?

:smoke:

9. I think Clinton's speech struck a nerve
with them somehow. They remembered how good things were.

Also, I think Kerry's medals and testimony from his vet buddies are awfully powerful. These people respect that kind of power.

8. The Scenerio: Kerry's first press conference as President
First reporter who asks a question: Helen Thomas.
Mark my words. She is the biggest example of a veteran reporter shafted during the current adminstration. I can't wait for the women to get the respect she deserves again.

13. Now we are getting way ahead of ourselves.
They know most of the people watching today are democrats. Dont worry, they will be back on repub talking points very soon.

And just wait for the RNC convention, they will whore for Bush like crazy.

The media is starting to hedge thier bets a little bit, which is great, but lets not go nuts and think they are going to suddenly jump on our side.

14. I was watching with my dad tonight (strong Kerry supporter)
and I tried to point out that Matthews and MSNBC are biased and he completely disagrees. He thinks they are fair, and he thinks that Matthews repeats the Repubs talking points in a way that makes them sound idiotic and unimportant.

15. I agree....
....there seems to be slightly less venom and spin coming from the media lately....maybe the 'big-boys' bets are shifting on who can best run the country (read, making them the most money).....
