It is absolutely outrageous!!!!
Who is going to be the balance during the RNC?

I hereby vow to cancel my cable and take to the streets.

Hold me to it you guys - ask me when you see my posts - Cancel cable, call the outlets, get active!!!!

1. You are missing so much by not watching CSPAN!
You are missing the "America Remembers" which is quotes from past dems and all of the faces of republicans who are voting for Kerry! CSPAN is much better viewing. You get a better sense of the excitement!

11. No kidding! You get excited about a speech you just heard and
some idiot "pundit" brings you down! The american media is in sorry ass shape, that's for sure. We all know it will be one giant lovefest in NYC. CNN, MSNBC, FAUX will all be tripping over themselves about how wonderful the experience is!

They set the bar so low for dimson and so high for everyone else!

2. Give Up The Media
I think you should just listen to CSPAN. This is the only way to get the truth. I am able to watch the entire speeches and there are no pundits. Thank God!

3. Of course not.
That's why I'm watching it on C-SPAN. Unfiltered. Just what it is.

Oh and for opinion, I'm streaming AAR.

4. Outrageous Is Right
Can you believe Matthews, Scarborough, Greenspan's wife on MSNBC. They are criticizing everything. They should have taken down the MSNBC sign. CNN is somewhat better.

We need more Bloggers.

5. I am proud to announce...
that I do not have cable TV and do not miss it. My rabbit ears antenna is picking up PBS which is nicely covering the convention. They are interviewing Carter now.

He claimed Bush&Co were planning war with Iraq before 9/11. Woo Hoo...way to go!

12. I quit cable three years ago... and
have been very happy with my antenna... I am watching on PBS and feel the Gore speech was awesome and the Carter speech perfect. They are coming across positive yet have touched on my beefs very well...

By quitting cable.. I have saved my household over $1500 in the last three years.... :-)

I do miss the nature stations and the Sci-fi channel..:-(

6. Supposedly you can ask your cable provider to block
Edited on Mon Jul-26-04 08:40 PM by truizm
those channels at a cost to the particular company. Remember those networks have many other channels too, so you might as well request a blocking of all their channels before you cancel your cable.

That's what I'd do if I had cable.

7. Keep C-SPAN with basic cable
You wont get CNN,MSNBC or FAUX, but you will still receive CSPAN. I did it 2 years ago and have been much happier ever since.
