something about failing kidneys or something. Supposedly has to have dialysis or other treatment. I don't know whether that's fact or conjecture, but if it's true, it could mean he's close to being dead without treatment.

What's fun is that she had the Geraldo niche before Geraldo went to Faux, getting the most scandalous figures, but doing it with a tad more class. And in recent months, when the two of them appear together, it appears clear that she has left Geraldo in the dust and that he is peeved. A couple of weeks ago they were both doing their shows about PETERSON and sitting next to each other doing promos on an earlier show. Geraldo was doing the "my sources" thing, and Rita upstaged him with a live interview of a close relative. Geraldo wouldn't LOOK at her, and sweet Rita would reach out and pat his knee. She worms her way into the families with her "sweetness" and her respect for their religious angle or somesuch.
