of how well you've done as a parent in raising your child. Then you get a very pleasant positive indication. The following is an email my 24 yr.old politically apathetic daughter started sending to everyone she can think of , after attending a viewing of 9/11 with me....needless to say , I'm relieved that I must have done something right.
Hi Everyone,
I hope everyone is doing well. I just saw Farenheit 9/11 and I felt an overwhelming sense of motivation to write this e-mail. For those who have not see this movie-PLEASE GO SEE IT (and bring as any people as you can). It is by far the most amazing documentary I have ever seen. Whatever your political views may be, this movie should not be missed. I personally feel that this election is going to be one of the most important elections in American history and I also believe that the voters of America deserve to right to make a well informed decision. Although this movie is very opinionated it does offer some cold hard facts that cannot be refuted ( and believe me if they could be refuted the Bush Brigade would have already been on top of it). This movie makes you feel every emotion that humans experience and for that reason alone it should be seen. When the movie was over people clapped. I don't know about you guys, but when is the last time you saw people clap at the end of the movie? This was my first time and it was memorable. Whether you love the movie or hate it at least make your own decision. See it for yourself don't take other people's word for it. It is obvious that I loved this movie, and I am thankful that a person as talented and couragous as Michael Moore is around to keep us abreast of information that we would otherwise be sheltered from. Again, I have my beliefs and you all will have yours, but if this movie has the power to make people start talking, then it has done it's job. We all must be more pro-active in our futures and I feel that discussion is a good start. Anyway, Sorry if this e-mail seemed preachy, but I have never felt more motivated to facilitate positive change than I do after seeing this movie. Whether you love it or hate it, I guarantee this movie will evoke emotions within you and will stimulate conversation. Thanks for letting me babble. I hope everyone is having a wonderful summer. Have a safe and enjoyable Fourth of July, and since most of us have off on Monday, make it a movie day-it's supposed to rain anyway. :) And if you guys go see the movie or already have seen it, I would love to hear your opinions. Remember, make your voice count. Vote in November.
Fondly, Kimberly
