Today's Press Briefing by Scott McClellan: "that would be horrible news"
http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/releases/2004/06/20040622-3.html

:puke:

Q The wires just reported that the South Korean captive has been beheaded.

Q Oh, no.

Q Ohhh.

MR. McCLELLAN: Jim, obviously, that would be horrible news to hear. I have not seen that report. This briefing started before any report came out. But that would be horrible news. But we are continuing the war on terrorism. And there simply is no justification for those kinds of atrocities that the terrorists carry out. We've seen some of the barbaric nature of the terrorists recently, when it comes to an American citizen that was killed in Saudi Arabia. And it is a reminder of the true nature of the terrorists. But, again, that's news that I'm just hearing right now, and I don't want to go further on that until I find out more about it myself.

1. This is too stupid!
Did Osama bin laden, CEO of Al Qaeda, approve this new marketing campaign? What will they say when they have the stockholders meeting?

Or is it the Kingdom of Al Qaeda, or the People's Republic of Al Qaeda?

There is no "War on Terror."

2. I used to watch the press briefings...then I could not stand looking
at McClellan's face, or listen to his horrible voice full of contempt for the press. Then I went to read the transcript. I could not do that either: terror, terrorist, Free and Peaceful Iraq, ARGHHHHHH!!!

I think that is what they want: you get to the point you don't want to know how idiotic they are and you tune them out... then they can lie, change their statements, and you don't notice because you could not stand listening to them in the first place.

3. Oh come now, Scott!
You and the corrupt administration you toady for have been telling us for months that the strongest attribute Stupidhead has is that he says what he's going to do, and then does it. It's that whole "steadfast leadership" thing, remember? The brutes who kidnapped that luckless Korean said they'd cut his head off by today if their demands weren't met, and they did it. Isn't that to be admired, same as Stupidhead massacreing thousands of innocent Iraqis who couldn't defend themselves or escape from "shock and awe"?

Or is Stupidhead just another bloodthirsty terrorist, to be stopped at all costs by civilized people?
