If Putin did warn bush* that Saddam was going to attack -- then why did Russia not support the Iraq invasion?

so where are the russian troops in Iraq? where is the russian aid to help with the invasion and occupation?

there's been enough news reports regarding Chechnya rebels being aided by "terrorist organizations", so if there is a Bin-Laden / Saddam cnnection - wouldn't Russia also be in jeopardy from a Saddam backed attack?

Putin sees that Bush will be an "easier" guy to "deal with".. During the G8, he came out and said that people should not vote for the democrats, and now he has discovered a "suppressed memory" of MULTIPLE notices of Iraqi plans to attack the US??? With WHAT?? Those rusted Sammoud missiles, or those buried sand-filled airplanes?? Or maybe the helium balloon truck was going to be shipped over here so we would all "talk funny"???
