Big Brother evictee Merlin Luck used his 15 minutes of fame to send a blunt and mute political message calling for the freeing of refugees.

Luck threw Channel Ten's nationally televised Sunday night live eviction show into turmoil to make a political statement.
The 24-year-old from Sydney, who a show spokesman said came to Australia from Germany and spent seven years as a refugee, arrived on stage after being evicted with his mouth taped shut.

He also revealed a sign, fashioned from black tape on a piece of white sheet which read (sic) Free Th Refugees.

4. no there are Afghan & Iraqi asylum seekers who have been locked

up for years, including children.

While we were attacking Afghanistan & Iraqi these people were fleeing in boats..they have the right to apply for Asylum but the right wing Howard government has labelled dthem 'Illegal immigrants '..which is factually and legally wrong and has kept their innocent children locked up in detention centres for years.

And nearly all are eventually granted Asylum.

So you have George Bush and his 'wedge' politics..we have ours

3. I like the way they are trying to make him sound like a basket case.
