- He's one of the handful of 'fightin' Dems left in either congress or the senate. The problem is that the Democratic party bosses won't give him or any of the others a voice or allow them to speak for the party. Lone dissenters in government are ineffective unless their party gets behind them.

He's running against Joe Barton down here in the 6th Texas CD and he really admires Waxman. Given the circumstances (Joe is very unpopular, GOP is sinking under Bush, etc.) Morris has a chance to win. Go give him a look and maybe a helping hand. Link to the Meyer for Congress website
