The battle never ends with one who is inherently evil
Edited on Mon Jun-07-04 04:29 PM by RapidCreek
no matter what sort of happy plastic face they use to cover the putrescent brew wich bubbles inside the skull underneath. Those of you who give respect to the memory of the despicable...lend respectability to their despicable acts.

Reagan was a happily, evil, hateful, insensitive, treasonous, lying, murderous thug. Now he's a dead evil, hateful, insensitive, treasonous, lying, murderous, thug. I'll give him the same respect in death that I gave him in life...for even after he no longer breaths the air he helped pollute, drinks the water he helped make foul, walks the streets littered with the wrecked lives of the homeless and aids victims he created or thinks of the 2 to 3 hundred thousand Central Americans he helped murder....I am and I do...and I will be for decades to come.

The hatred a man feels for the individuals who lynched his black brother, is not the same sort of hatred a man feels for individuals with black skin.

The hatred a man feels for the person who murders his family, is not the same sort of hatred the murderer feels for the family he murders.

The hatred a man feels for an individual who asserts AIDS is bestowed upon the ungodly, is not the same as the same sort of hatred a man feels for an individual because of his or her sexual preference.

The hatred a man feels for an individual who threw him out of a mental institution and onto the street, is not the same sort of hatred a man feels for the person who suffers mental illness.

The hatred a woman feels for the man who raped her, is not the same sort of hatred a man feels for the woman he raped.

Hatred is not universal...it is tempered by the reasons one feels it and defined by the actions it inspires.

The right kind of hate is a healthy thing. Hatred of injustice, hatred of inequality and hatred of the sort of individual who advocates these things or tacitly accepts them through the disingenuous honoring of its perpetrators is all that will narrow the scope of the very detrimental effects all four have on society.

7. Bravo!
I've heard people say Reagan wasn't as bad as Hitler... what does that say about the man when you have to make that kind of comparison? He was either evil, or a brain-dead puppet for the evil cronies around him. Either way, I'm sure he's roasting in hell with Tricky DIck.

8. Well said, sir!
I would only disagree in that Raygun was an unwitting dupe, more often than not, and I would consider that a mitigating circumstance.

10. Perhaps ...but I don't really believe that to be so.
To lie well and often.... To steal well and often...To subjugate well and often...To disenfranchise well and often...To betray well and often, one must have a firm grasp of the finer points of each and a consistent desire to commit the same.

I really don't believe Reagan was unwitting. I believe that his Good ole boy, Awe shucks demeanor, was an act....he was an actor...and actors know how to manipulate their audience....it is after all what makes an actor an actor. Bush uses the same tactic...granted it is one that was crafted by his forbearer but it is one that was demonstrably successful...and what worked once will certainly work again.
