5. My dad has been saying for along time now

that the American people do not have enough sense to govern themselves. While we can't re-elect him, we quite possibly are foolish enough to elect him in November. If we do it is probably all over for us--100 years from now, historians will write that our nation went completely insane. That we brought our destruction completely and willfully upon ourselves.
