http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/programmes/hardtalk/3706989.stmSNIP..."In a HARDtalk interview on 12th May, Tim Sebastian speaks to Governor Howard Dean, who has dropped out of the presidential race, about whether the Democrats have a chance of winning the elections and how events in Iraq are impacting on the campaign."
It is a tough interview, but it shows Dean's determination to defend Kerry. Tim Sebastian is a rough interviewer, and some of it was painful to view. However, Dean got in points about the privatization of the military and its lack of responsibility. He also emphasized how Bush had undermined our credibility.
It was an excellent interview, but tough.

"Even the President has now admitted there was no evidence of that. Saddam Hussein had nothing to do with 9/11. The President has admitted there was no evidence for that - the question is why in the world are we there? Why did we lose 700 people? Why are the British there?"
Governor Dean said he was "very disappointed" with British Prime Minister Tony Blair.
"He (Tony Blair) was quite an icon of the centre left. He was one of the leading lights of the centre left in Europe and I think that's all gone now. I would have preferred he had stood up to the President rather than go along with it but that was not meant to be." END SNIP
