Brits get stones thrown at them. USA troops get bombs thrown at them.
There have been numerous reports of British troops getting stones thrown at them in Basra. Meantime our troops are getting bombs thrown at them. Clearly there seems a lot more hostility in Iraq to us than the British. Yet both are "occupying" forces. Why has there been no comment on this from the media?
Canadian RCI Shortwave....a report a couple of days ago...how Canadians who are now deploying in Afghanistan are afraid because the locals can't tell the difference between them and the Americans...and since the Americans are targets, Canadians are afraid they're going to be targeted "by mistake."
6. You may be right. The Iraqis show a sense of proportion.
