All this McCain VP talk
may be little more than a brilliant effort to plant the perception of Kerry's dedication to healing a divided nation. "The real uniter". Whether or not they were ever serious about McCain as VP, the trial balloon will influence America's impression of Kerry.

2. the perception of Kerry's dedication to healing a divided nation
I hope it is more than just perception. It is a real problem; a polarized nation.

6. I am skeptical of Kerry as is.?
And do we know McCain's positions on privatizing Medicare, Trade, Social Security. And we think Kerry will end the military adventurism? With McCain?. The big expensive military boondoggles?
Such talk is nuts...You can count on a Nader vote in this family for sure.

7. I'd agree if they really meant to nominate McCain
but I think it's simply useful propaganda and nothing more.
