We need for somebody to come out with those repulsive torture pictures
I personally don't want to see any more pictures, but listening to C-Span: all the repug callers are now totally denying that what they saw in the pictures is torture.
I hope some of the soldiers with pictures sell them or something. This administration's talking points seem to be that this is just hazing, not torture.

1. Bound to happen, and probably planned so that
the right will eventually be able to deny their very existence. As disturbing as the pictures are, they absolutely must be released just so the facts concerning the prisoner abuse and torture cannot be denied.

2. it's been proven that torture was the official policy, from the top
THAT'S why the repubs don't want anymore shown. and notice it's almost all the repubs who want them censored. everyone agrees though, they'll be leaked if not dumped. either way, we're screwed as a nation because of the photos. it's almost as if they were taken, and released DELIBERATELY to inflame the arab world.

this is perhaps one of the top 5 ugliest chapters in the last 100 years of american history.

3. There has been some talk that total chaos in Iraq is really the
plan. That way Bush has a good excuse to keep the troops there. Yes, why were they taking so many pictures. Good question which I've wondered myself. All that posing. Taking pictures of rapes - of women and men. What kind of people are these?

You would think they learned their lesson with Nixon and his tapes. Something is wierd here, that's for sure.

And as for being one of the 5 ugliest chapters, I would have the say the whole 3 years of Bush has been on chapter. As for others, I think the list of murders by our government in the name of "democracy" that were listed in Michale Moore's movie - Bowling for Columbine - would be before this on the list. This is what government do. This is what they have always done. Our roles in the world have been kept secret for a long time
