lets back up a bit on the beheading
Edited on Wed May-12-04 08:52 AM by seabeyond
the military had berg. FBI had bergs family. the department knew about this man. they had him at end of march beginning of April

the military in Iraq knew things were bad. they knew he was a Jew. they knew he was trying to get out of town. didn't have a company helping him. on his way.

why wasn't he helped out

that is what i want to know now. i am thru the outrages of yesterday, a wow in emotion.

this is another example of these people not thinking things thru. seeing this event, Iraq, in a illusions we can do. yet they don't see the reality of Iraq on the ground. they may see the individual battles but they don't see the whole of the situation. they had a responsibility to this man. he was an American citizen. this is what a responsible adult caring human does. where have we stepped so far away from responsibility for our fellow man. our neighbor. the smoker, Muslims, gays, our children.........

i was listening to a youngish black woman in a military town, i believe her husband is overseas. and she says, i am not surprised, they have escalated it to this. so now we need to escalate

ya, how simple to say that isn't gonna work. never has, never will

i always bring it to the higher, that the universe is always talking to us. i like to listen. with the soldiers that have been lost just yesterday i believe and all this, it just comes to say, lookie, all this is telling us something. we don't have to be afraid to look and listen. it wont hurt. i see universally; the god whispers, then talks, then yells, knocks ya up side the head, throws a brick at you, place the brick wall for you to run into

a duh

1. So what did the US forces
who had Berg in custody do when they released him? Drop him where they knew he would be taken by Al Qaida because they thought he was a smart-ass?

Will we ever know?

4. The million dollar question.
There is a timeline here. Nick's parents, Iraqi police, US military and FBI all talked to or saw this man up to a certain date in April. If the government "released" him and according to a recent LBN story...told him to leave the country...how the hell did they think he was going to get back to West Chester? Walk?

we will have to see.

with this, Hamil had captures that seemed to be less hostel. yet he escaped just as or before those pictures came out.

8. Ah ha. I hadn't heard that part.
So the Halliburton/MS guy "escapes" after they actually operated on his arm to save it and the young Nick doing "God knows what in Iraq" gets to wear a shiny orange outfit and get beheaded by Al Queda?

Still stinks. PU.

2. The universal truth the universe is trying to get us to hear:
"Whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap."

Indiviually and collectively...it's universal.

5. play life in ego
i say to boys, i say to so many in my life. bushie plays all life in ego. it is such a clear mirror for us to learn.

we create. in all things we create.

bush says the f*in things out loud for us. no rape room in iraq. the news shows the rape room. he then continues to stand there and look in the camara and say,. no rape room in iraq. freedom in iraq. you gotta say dumb sh*t.

these pictures that will be coming out, my husband and i in bed last nite after watching berg video. we listen to a republican senator softing us for the video. he is asked, they are rapes. and the man kept repeating they are worse, they are much worse. i look at ed and say, murder. gotta be murder. as we gear up to escalate for murder of berg. the obvious cannot be lost on so many.

basically what i am saying. seeing good/ bad for bush/ kerry, that is the ego of the game. take it beyond the simple truth is this isnt working dudes. personally i believe, if i can feel that, think that.......collectively we think that. in collective, that is what we create.

3. i dont think so roger.
and i hear they are starting to talk about it. something else grabbed my focus though. seeeing the board adn all the talking, yesterday i was listening to a left talk show woman on scarsborugh. the was a right talk show man, i dont like of course, i dont know his name

he said the problem with you liberals,.....someone kills someone and you say lets look at childhood why did he do yada yada yada

you take this beheading adn you start looking into why

(leaving open suppose to say f* it lets kill)

we democrats do that. we take what happens, feel it and experience it, and then start looking at what is up. start thinking, and talking and communicating. i am seeing with all the posts i am going to read.

that is called deep thinking. that,............is a good thing

7. Developing...
The Baghdad news conference confirms the FBI met his 3 times while in Iraqi detention for "supicious activities" and told him to "leave the country". Now why didn't they help?

We have a lot of questions here, and I think Berg's parents may lead the charge on this. They can't imagine they feel any solace with the "sympathy" their getting at this moment and the feeling of anger that their son's death could have been easily prevented.

Talking with a radio engineer last night, he had questions about being a "free lance radio tower engineer". While radio installations were destroyed during the war, these facilities were quickly occupied by the military and they have plenty of capabilities to rebuild these facilities on their own, they have never used outside contractors.

I'm still trying to sort my feelings out on this. The tin foil hat is too damn easy to put on here. The timing of this video reeks as it counteracts any possible Iraqi torture videos...giving this regime wiggle room again.

CNN reported this morning, that in Western PA, while support for the invasion has dropped 10 points in the past month, *'s ratings haven't budged. Is this a disconnect or what???
