1. No Way I'm Watching It
If I did, I would go mental. I'm sure of that.

12. So I watched the video.
You're right. Definitely not "worth it"- whatever that means. It's going to haunt me.

and turned my stomach, then why would I want to watch someone suffering and hear their last dying screams of agony and fear and pain? Why?

I think I'd literally (no really... LITERALLY) faint. I get woozy just thinking about it.

5. I watched it...
We've render every idea we came to after World World 2 basically obsolete. We need to people to be unequivicolly against WAR and VIOLENCE.

Shit, guys, Germany, with thier violent history and past disgain of democracy, has progressed further than we have.

Conservative ideas are really horrible in this day in age.

People need to watch this... so they can't, without serious thought, endorse war.

6. I've been a pacifist for this long without it.
Not sure everybody will react to the video as appropriately as you. I think that some people will fill themselves with hate. I think the bloodthirsty element in our society will be magnified just as much as the pacifist side.

People - conservatives - need to learn to put themselves in other people's shoes. If we as individuals followed the Golden Rule, there would be no violence. Countries must also "do unto others..." - then there would be no war. It's a tall order - and if the Bible has failed to bring out that message, this video certainly will not.

on a side note...
It's time to pay some serious attention to this organization:

8. I feel as you do.
We shouldn't run from the truth - but I admit that, although I knew
what was coming, I still gasped and had my hand to my mouth, and I
think I groaned as well.

But now I know.

14. I don't need to be sickened and repulsed...
...to be against this war. There are thousands of dead on both sides already -- this one is just more public

, tho' if were it "that time of the month," I probably would have felt fairly "crampy."

At times my "period cramps" I experienced during "that time" were bad enough. :hurts:

9. I have decided against watching it....
heard enough about it. I have enough of an imagination that subjecting myself to this would be somewhat redundant and well, nothing more then voyeuristic curiosity.

Thanks, but no thanks.

10. I watched
And all I have to say is,

we have sown the winds, and we are reaping a whirlwind

Now as to the comments about WWII, it is no more or less graphic
than the films from the Germans... at Babi Yar.

It is no more or less graphic than the pictures at Bosnia.

It just has color, grainy quaility and sound.

Bear witness, this is the reality of our time... this is just starting...

15. No. I have seen many so-called "snuff" films in my time.
Edited on Wed May-12-04 01:58 AM by elperromagico
I've seen so many that I have developed an iron will when it comes to such things. I have watched people shot, by their own hand or by others. I have seen hangings, I have seen beheadings, I have seen train accidents, I have seen suicide jumps, I have seen stabbings.

I have looked at crime scene photos, with people's heads blown to smithereens. I have seen the twisted, contorted faces of men executed at the hands of the State. I have seen photos of Chris Farley's bloated, blue-faced corpse, lying on the floor of a Chicago apartment, clutching the rosary.

And worst of all, I have sought these things out of my own accord. No one forced me to do it. The part of me that seeks out such things is a part I would rather be rid of.

I am tired of death.

16. No.
And anyone who thinks I need to see it in order to understand the true horror of war and the results of U.S. occupation and the depths to which humanity can sink can...think whatever the fuck he wants, but it won't make any difference to me.

I don't need to stick my hand in a fire to understand a bad burn, I don't need to down a quart of tequila to understand a bad hangover, and I don't need to watch a murder to understand man's inhumanity to man.

17. I cannot imagine watching the killing portion. I only saw what was
televised on CBS and that was more than enough. I should have just stuck to the radio or internet like I always do.
