Bush's labor department has been lying about job creation
But we already knew that, didn't we?

This little shocker is from a Murdoch paper, no less:

"May 11, 2004 -- DON'T get too excited about all those new jobs that were supposed to have been created in April.
I'm not going to waste a lot of my precious space on this, but the bottom line is that most of the 288,000 jobs that the Labor Department says were created last month may not really exist.

"They could be figments of statisticians' optimism. "

http://www.nypost.com/business/23936.htm

They're using a FORMULA for all this good news, folks, not that we actually thought there were any new jobs out there, did we?

No wonder the stock market went down after the report came out.

1. Of COURSE. They tweak EVERYTHING.
And then they fire the whisteblowers, or out their wives, or what-have-you.

2. This comes as a surprise WHY?
I already figured they were after they re-classified fast-food jobs as "manufacturing".

3. If I had a guess, the formula would be something like...
Take the number that * needs to meet his ridiculous predictions, add the number of verified new jobs, increase it by the percentage increase of corporate profits, subtract the near zero corporate tax rate, add the number of new 'Merikan speeaking jobs in India (seen Dilbert lately?)...

and divide by two.

If it doesn't suit *'s political needs, make up a number.

4. I'm not surprised but this needs to be given publicity.
These guys are the worst liars......what Kerry said.

Honestly, these guys are the worst of the worst. Worse than Nixon.

5. Shit. I knew it.
These vile vipers of venom are on league with the best totalitarians of the last century.

They wake up every morning and ask themselves, "What would Stalin do?"

6. I know that senators Kennedy, Levin, Reed are on top of stuff. Do
you think they are aware of this? What about John Kerry? Is it worth sending an e-mail with the article link?
