McCain on the Hannity Show: Counting on Lieberman, Bayh & Miller
Edited on Mon May-10-04 05:52 PM by Hornito
McCain was on the Hannity show this afternoon, plotting with Hannity on how to contain the political crisis enveloping the White House over the prisoner abuse scandal. Together, they derided and belittled liberals and Democrats, and McCain sounded anything like a "non-partisan". His goal is to get Bush re-elected.

Further, McCain talked about enlisting Evan Bayh, Joe Lieberman, and Zell Miller, to help him derail liberals' attempts to turn the prisoner abuse debacle into a political issue. Nice to know, that Republican McCain can count on these (and other) good Democrats, to subvert our nation, and give support to the criminal Bush administration. *uck him.

Anyone who thinks McCain would be a good VP pick for Kerry, better think again.... He's a Republican through and through, despite some of his good attributes.

2. I Guess...
...Rove took his testicles away from him again. Just when it seems like McCain is going to finally do the right thing, yank. And there they go.

3. It amazes me
That a man who was once held captive by enemies, tortured, dehumanized, starved would then turn around and say "let's not talk about this.".

I wonder how he was bought off--just a few months ago he was working with Kerry.

5. McCain wants to be President

He can taste it he wants it so bad.

I have never trusted or liked him.
No way should he be trusted and NoJOE either.
I didn't know this about Bayh. But, I saw him on cable this morning and I noticed his eyes seemed cold like a Republican. There was something about him that I didn't trust.

6. Bayh is the ultimate DLC DINO, and a LIEberman protege.
Edited on Mon May-10-04 06:29 PM by Hornito
He's got a heart of ice, and he's also very ambitious, which makes him even more dangerous. Behind closed doors, is he betraying his party and our nation, like Lieberman and Zell Miller do?

7. They are the enemy

Bayh and Zell and Lieberman are the enemy.
We should not trust them for one second.
They should not be included in any Kerry planning sessions.
They should be called WannaBee Rethugs.

8. Trojan Horse......enough said
strange, though... I'd love to hear from his therapist, wife, or whoever he confides in.... I just don't get how he can support someone who so blatantly lied and demolished his (McCain's) own reputation for personal gain.

9. We should thank McCain for naming the lukewarm traitors.
Although most of us here know who they are already. Hopefully after this Kerry will know better than to pick any of them for VP.

11. McCain is the wishy washy guy
Edited on Mon May-10-04 08:05 PM by higher class
He can't decide if he is a man for all parties or a Bushie.

He is not trustworthy. He repeatedly vascillates between fair and partisan. It is easy for me to know where I stand in regards to him.

12. No chance of Bayh, Lieberman, Miller or McCain for VP
They're all WAY too far right! Even if he wants to move to the center, he can't go there!

Anyone know much about Jane Harman(sp?) from CA? I heard or read that she is on the short list. Of course, that could just be more rumormongering....

13. Why is it
that asking for Rummy's resignation is "Political" while saying he should not resign is NOT "political"?
