George Will says administration cannot govern
Wow.

"This administration cannot be trusted to govern if it cannot be counted on to think and, having thought, to have second thoughts." Two days earlier, Robert Kagan, a neoconservative supporter of the Iraq war, wrote: "All but the most blindly devoted Bush supporters can see that Bush administration officials have no clue about what to do in Iraq tomorrow, much less a month from now."

2. sounds like his article last week
but as i read on he suggested the solution to Bush's problems was to become more conservative.
Will cannot be counted on to think, how can he ask this of Bush. He just knee-jerks for the right, irrespective of consistency or logic, just like the rest of them.

3. I was amazed at George Will yesterday
on This Week.

He asked exactly the questions and made exactly the points we do here. He has obviously lost all faith in Rumsfeld and Bush. He sounded sad and discouraged.

4. I'm telling you that bush is not......................
going to be on the ticket. I don't know how they will do it but my instincts tell me he is finished.
I wouldn't be suprised if the republican leadership is already talking to McCain. Sounds crazy but if shrub gets out at the last minute the repug party's only hope of keeping the whitehouse is McCain.

19. No. He's just running away from the consequences of
the policies he supported with a vengeance just one year ago.

He's just a silly card board cut out of a neo-con.

13. Maybe just a few neocons don't have their heads COMPLETELY...
up their asses and can see their "vision" crumbling thanks to Shrubco's incompetence.

7. I sent Mr. Will an e-mail. Please do the same.
Dear Mr. Will,

Each time your column veers away from baseball and into the world of politics, we rarely agree. The subject column is a very welcome exception.

I've been an independent voter for almost 40 years, but not this time. I am beyond "concerned". I am frightened by what is happening to our country under this neo-con leadership.

Many thanks for writing a piece that I can only hope your fellow conservatives will read and heed.

15. According to Bell, they have no strategy-
read here:

"Whatever the cause, conservatives say the remedy to policy malaise won't come until the election. Conservative strategist Jeffrey Bell said the big items on the policy agenda -- such as an overhaul of Social Security -- are necessarily on hold as Bush fights for reelection.

"He's having to defend the forward motion he's already had," Bell said. "Reagan in '84 was the same way. People who thought Reagan's creative period was going to end after '83 were wrong. I think Bush will be the same way."

Well, this is a bombshell to the Reagans to be sure..

Better send a note to Nancy...this should really tick her off if the conservatives are selling Bush to their own as a mirror of Ronald Reagan.

18. Ha. All the warmongers fleeing and complaining that
"it's not my fault" now that the disaster of IraqNam unfolds in a way that no one can deny. I have even less respect than I did before (if that's possible) for these whining crybabies trying to distance themselves from THEIR OWN POLICIES.

Fork em.

Me thinks Mr. Will will be voting for Mr. Kerry come this November. Watching him week after week shake his head in disbelief at the blunderous Bush cabal is a delight -
