Firm that did Fla voting list of felons who weren't, gets $96 mil contract
from Pentagon and WH

JUSTICE DEPARTMENT SUIT A "SHAM" TO PROTECT HARRIS, BUSH
Wednesday, May 22, 2002

Yesterday's Justice Department announcement of a suit against Florida counties for purging Black voters from voter rolls and other violations of civil rights is the result, and vindication, of the investigations of BBC Television reporter Greg Palast. The award winning investigative reporter, within three weeks of the 2000 election, was first to disclose that the Florida Secretary of State's office had purged thousands of voters, mostly African American, from voter registries prior to the Presidential election. All were named as felons ineligible to vote, but most, Palast disclosed, were innocent.

more..... at http://www.gregpalast.com/detail.cfm?artid=157&row=2

now go to http://www.boston.com/dailynews/124/world/Editor_in_chief_of_U_S_funded_P.shtml

and find out that this same "Harris" company is the one that received a 96 million dollar contract from the Pentagon to supply disinformation to Iraq by tv and newspaper. The newspaper people just quit and are starting their own paper in Iraq.

Still googling Harriss + Bush

Isn't that convenient. Phony up the felons' list in Florida to all democrats prohibited from voting thereafter and receive a 96 million
contract from the Bush Pentagon/WH.

1. after all the bullshit that's come down the road from these folks...
...I still shake my head in wonder. Rewarding a company that knowingly disenfranchised TENS OF THOUSANDS of non-felon, legal, law-abiding citizens. Where is the outrage?

4. But those law abiding citizens
weren't voting for our great prince GW. Surely you can understand the importance of getting him into office since it was god's plan to happen. We will be watching you "law abiding" citizens to ensure you are not terrorists. Our great leader has warned us about you.

10. if i recall correctly
it wasnt choicepoint that did the dirty deed.
it was harris and bush.
choicepoint just did the data processing they were instructed to do, and complained that is was flawed to boot.

8. How much disinformation can $96 Mil buy you?
If we had a penny's worth of information for every dollar we spend on disinformation, we just may be informed.

15. People in Florida need to CHECK if they are still on the rolls.
Edited on Mon May-03-04 06:30 PM by LoZoccolo
Check if you are on now, check every week until the election, and make sure your friends know this and pass it on. There's no use getting purged or finding out it's too late to get back on when you could have checked and could have done it often enough to catch it as soon as you can.

Are there any other states where people need to check? Where would you call to check?
