I must be having a weird week or something, but I found this inordinately amusing. This actor who claims to be a Bush supporter (and makes a ton of $ impersonating him for TV and corporate functions) actually got 20 minutes in the Oval Office.
http://www.stevebridges.com/news_meeting.html"Asked to name what he will remember most about his trip to the Oval Office, Bridges said it was a Norman Rockwell painting of someone waiting to see the president."
Is this not strange? You get to speak to GWB himself, and he's in a jolly mood so you can ask him almost anything -- he even invites you to go fishing with him at The Ranch -- and yet, the Norman Rockwell painting on the wall is MORE memorable? I mean, no offence to those who are into classic American art, but really!
