David Letterman tonight: Fox cancelled "American Idol" to transmit
the President's speech...The reason is because they didn't want to have too many amateurs during a single hour!

Intercut parts of Bush's speech with clips from the Idol judges lambasteing someone. Funny.

6. Heavy duty magnets in their shoes
is my guess.

Their shoes were really funny looking and that thing they were standing on was magnetized or whatever.
