I'm watching Hannity and Colmes, and Hannity is babbling on about Ted Kennedy and he even throws in a reference to Chappaquiddick, from 1969, where Mary Jo Kopechne died in a drowning accident. Hannity made some comment like "we haven't gotten the full story but I'm not going to bring that up now," which is odd because of course he is bringing Chappaquiddick up. What's amazing is right-wingers like Hannity will bring up the death of one woman from 1969 and criticize the man associated with that, yet will say nothing about George W. Bush, who sent troops to Iraq to hunt for non-existent WMDs that have resulted in the deaths of 636 soldiers.

Conservatives hate America. They're the ones that want our soldiers dead.

My late father considered himself a patriot. But his patriotism was, shall we say, selective. For dad, the Constitution didn't apply to "niggers," "white cunts who fuck niggers," "faggots with their goddamned AIDS," "overly-educated intellectual faggots," "spics who sneak in over the border and can't even speak English," "protester punks," etc.

After I had become radicalized, I once told my father, "You don't want democracy; you want fascism!"

Now, does that suggest to you a man who loved America, or who loved a deleterious perversion of America?

12. They Don't Really Like the Military Either

It should be pointed out that many of the Republicans in Congress and the ones supporting this war have never served in the military. In addition, it has been the Republicans who have tried to cut money from the military.
