Civil War in Iraq? No.
At one time I was thinking that but now I feel that it is
an excuse for Bushco' Troops to continue the Occupation and
colonization of Iraq. I now feel that the various factions have figured out that it would be to their best interest to work
together to keep Bushco from privatizing their country's resources.

Some have said that the Kurds will form their own state in the north but I don't think that they will do so. Turkey won't stand for it and will send in troops to stop that formation.

I think that what could happen if the US pulled out the Occupation forces is that three territories would be established under a confederation.

If W is re-selected the Occupation will continue and Americans will not protest unless at least 25,000 American Troops are killed. Bushco dind't invade Iraq just to turn it over to the Iraqis.

1. We should support the formation of the kurdish state
in the north. It would be a very wise act, as it would put
pressure on other antidemocratic regimes to treat the kurdish voice
and people with justice... (syria, iran, syria).

We could easily defend the northern kurdish state from turkish
intervention with a few words of warning.

3. A few words to Turkey?
I don't think so. The Turks are adament about
the Kurds not having their own sovereign country.
I think that the US would have to fight the Turks
militarily to keep them out of N. Iraq.

4. Not if Turkey wants to get into the EU, it won't
What will be more important to them? There might also be a considerable split between how the civil and military authorities would react to this choice.

I think there is at least a 50% chance that there will be an official 'Kurdistan' within 5-10 years. I'd say that this is the best chance they've had for a country in a long time.

9. turkey is part of nato, they'd kiss ass
or be grass. An independent kurdistan would alleviate serious
pressures in the region of unstable governance.

2. If * is elected, he will be going after all the other countries on
his list. He has about 60 of them. I don't know how many troops have to die for these creeps to do their thing. One is way too much for me. The handing over to the Iraqi government in June is a joke. They are just doing it for the election. Maybe get their hands on all that oil if they should loose in Nov. This is so criminal. The media should be screaming. Can you imagine what would be going on if this was Clinton????

most of them make over 200K a year, and they know if Kerry was elected their taxes would go up?
