Then, after doing all this, the Democrats turn around and tell you the Republicans want to take your Social Security. And the worst part about it is, people believe it! The 85% figure is the MAXIMUM amount taxable of SS income, and you have to have a HELLUVA lot of OTHER income (fat pensions and capital gains from stocks or mutual funds for example) to reach that ceiling - wealthy retirees of course. MOST taxpayers are either taxed at a small percentage (10 or 15% of the total benefits), or NOT AT ALL. Fuck anyone who dares send me that piece of shit. I will eat them alive.
