Shays: Richard Clarke put a knife in the back of the president
However, Condi needs to testify in public.

Especially since she has gone on all these talk shows.

...your books graphic, I love it! The TRUTH has become a veritable cottage industry!!!! You could have put up a different dozen, too!

However...

The illusion of freedom in America will continue as long as it's profitable to continue the illusion. At the point where the illusion becomes too expensive to maintain, they will just take down the scenery, they will pull back the curtains, they will move the tables and chairs out of the way, and you will see the brick wall at the back of the theatre.

4. Yeah, I was surprised he was so sure about Rice testifying in public
I think it really may happen, which would be cool. All the WH apologists have been saying that her testimony will be convincing but -- surprise, surprise -- she's going to screw up bad and make the whole thing worse for them.

paulsolomon has a great thread, I think, about why she CAN't testify

no way she will

HOPE she does though, cause you're right

21. Don't underestimate their hubris/stupidity
The BFEE-apologists corps keep talking like Rice's testimony is the secret weapon that can finally put an in end to their Clarke nightmare. Put aside what we think motivates this crowd and pretend for a moment that they actually have the good of the country in mind. Even affording them that, their history has been one of reckless, incompetent arrogance so I'm thinking she'll go for it.

11. Who is stabbing who in the back?
Didn't bu$h stab every American in the back by being too lazy to respond to the terror threats and go on vacation for a month just a month before the 9/11 attack? Didn't he stab every American in the back by lying to every American about why he was going to war with Iraq and allowing Al Quaeda to splinter and spread across the world.

How do we stab him back? WITH OUR VOTE!

No, its more like he skewered him right through his evil heart with Excalibur.

The Rethuglicans are just shitting in their hands and throwing their monkey feces hoping some of it will stick.

Why would he use a knife? The pen is mightier than the sword.
