Chris Matthews does America a service by showing the TRUE face of war

As a 24 year old former Marine: (1st Force Reconnaissance Company) (15th MEU) (SOC). I want to commend Chris for his show which focused on the soldiers who have been maimed and injured for life. America's soldiers are the best in the world. We have been kicking the hell out of Al Qaida and Iraqi Fedayeen scum for a long time now, and the enemy knows it. Still, it is sad that our soldiers were taken out of the war on terror to fight a discretionary war in Iraq. This war was fought by our brave soldiers for the vanity of a man who was too much of a coward to fight when HIS country called. Bush is a spoiled baby, who wouldn't last ONE minute on Paris island. It is for this reason that America will elect John Kerry and send Bush back to his ugly ass ranch in Texas.

I pray that the young men and women in Iraq & elsewhere see things the way you do. Better yet, I hope the majority of military voters screams resounding NO to Bush this year. That would be a shock & awe message to this so called war president.

8. Too bad Matthews was too busy kissing Bush's ass on the

lead up to the invasion of Iraq to actually pose a few critical questions. Might've helped to wake a few more people up *before* our soldiers started getting wounded and killed for Bush's invasion.

I agree that it's absolutely necessary to recognize the wounded coming back from Iraq, and Matthew's effort in that direction is a positive thing. But it's too damn late.
