need help with real death toll for soldiers, anybody have any info?

I'm trying to find out some information on the true death toll
in Iraq including the deaths that result from injuries as well
as those that die in the field.

I'm sure this figure is being low-balled by the corporate media
but I need to find something substantial.

1. I believe the numbers are generally correct. I think it's now at 589

US military deaths. http://lunaville.org and http://pigstye.net/iraq are keeping track by cross-referencing DoD press releases and using information from other sources. If you look on both sites, they have listed under the individual names, individuals who later died in Kuwait, Germany, England, or the US. I believe that it is a credit to medical personnel as well as the evacuation teams that so many who are injured ultimately live.
