I don't believe those numbers. Not without bulk puchases. Hilary's book didn't do anything like those numbers in such a short time. Did it? And this book (I have a copy) is a little more... exotic... than the average American would be able to read.

The library ordered 4 initially, I had to order 2 dozen more yesterday to meet INITIAL demand. That is just the people who are willing to wait to read it.
