Cheney goes on Limbaugh to slime Clarke. How sleazy is that?

Joe Conason: Vice President Cheney told Rush Limbaugh that you were not "in the loop," and that you're angry because you were passed over by Condi Rice for greater authority. And in fact you were dropped from Cabinet-level position to something less than that. How do you respond to what the Vice President said?

Richard Clarke: The vice president is becoming an attack dog, on a personal level, which should be beneath him but evidently is not.

1. Ha, nothing is beneath these cockroaches...
(no disrespect to out smaller antenna equipped friends).

This proves it. Why some people love these killers in office is beyond me.

Loser vp should lighten up, it can't be good for his ticker personally given to him by the devil.

3. why should the Dick stop telling lies...
...when the media rebroadcasts whopper after whopper without any additional comment - even when they have reels and reels of their own tape that proves what the VP is saying is a bold faced lie?

4. Cheney can only go to these dungeons because if he went to any
legitimate media outlets he would be swamped with hostility.
The dittomonkeys will lap up his excrement.

5. I guess it is par for this group
Turn on Rush and in less than 10 min you will go nuts as he tells so many things that are not true but as he talks to his base and they do not have to think, they love him. If you just wish to feed into what you wish to hear Rush is the man for the right wing. It is scary when some one tells you 'I believe every thing he said as he thinks just like me' and odd but all those hate radio people seem to be like that. They are always right and every one else is wrong, and they can not be reasoned with from what I hear when people call in. Often they will say, this is my show. Self feeding what you think so you will not have to reason anything out. That is why I always read FR as it gives a slant to how others think.

6. Cheney: not in the loop. Condi: Clarke was at every meeting.
She said that the next day after Cheney. Which one is it?

8. The media is starting to question it as we speak.
They just keep digging. This imploding house of cards sure is amusing to watch.

10. This should not come as a surprise to any of us because
we have confirmation of Cheney's sleazy character when he dismissed
his long time friend Paul O'Neill's concern about the increasing budget deficits with the statement "Deficits don't matter; Ronald Reagan proved that".He was also the hatchet man the Bush administration used to dismiss Mr.O'Neill, another truth teller fallen victim to a duplicitous administration.

We should also remember that it is Cheney's office ( Libby) that is
heavily involved in the outing of Valerie Plame and the slandering of
Ambassador Wilson.Just as in the Clarke case, Cheney claimed that Ambassador Wilson did not know what he was talking about when he told the truth about the Niger Yellowcake.

Of all the sleazebags in this administration ( and there is a surplus)
it is ahorse race between Cheney and Condi on who wins the award for the worst sleazebag,IMHO.

11. Frankly I'm surprised they've
let this giant liability out of his hole. Hopefully Kerry will pick a VP quickly to help bring a contrast between themselves and that corrupt, criminal, money grubbing POS.

15. This is also interesting
When Tweety was talking about Cheney's "not in the loop" comments he said that the statement was made "on a radio show" and then played Dickless Cheney's statement. Tweety was extremely careful NOT to mention that it was OxyRush's show.

The RWers are embarrassed about OxyRush's support for their hero and don't like to mention it in polite company.

16. it merely proves how closely aligned the white house is with the rush
limbaugh show.

NO one believed me when I claimed this during rush's addiction scandal, how it was used to cover the plame story.

The fact that C had to go down to basement and secure the underbelly of the beast indicates the fear and desperation the cabal must be sensing.

18. ahhh, the fragrance of that new manly scent the administration is
wearing----it's called "The Scent of Fear". If they are still this scared with all the propaganda being put out about Clarke, it tells me that not only is the guy right on the target but that there is something else looming in the shadows that they are scared about coming out. Perhaps someone else may rat and confirm what Clarke has said?? Think of all the other problems that have irrupted from time to time for this administration and yet they didn't scramble to this degree. Come on DNC and Kerry, get into this thing and dig, dig, dig.......these bastards are frightened and obviously by going on Limbaugh they are scared of losing their "stupid white men".
