I thought up a creepy prediction on LIHOP 2 tonight

Yesterday Israel killed the leader of Hamas. The Middle East is furious at this, as are other countries. Now Hamas is preaching death to Israel and to U.S. citizens. In response, Israel says it will kill all Hamas leadership. Now what's that supposed to solve?

Notice that the White House didn't explicitly condemn the action. I think something big resulting from this will be the next MIHOP opportunity. Think about it - Richard Perle, Paul Wolfowitz, etc. Seems just a little ridiculous to do public assassinations, considering the current state of the world.

The whole Mideast was pissed at Israel back when most of them had Soviet support. Now Egypt and Jordan are our "allies" (hey, it's better than when they were our enemies). The Arabs are in worse position to destroy Israel than ever before. If there was going to be a cataclysmic attack on Israel it would have already happened.

While we all want an end to the violence, I don't thing WWIII is going to start in Jerusalem.

meetings and speeches, etc. with Likud? Or did I just imagine seeing something about a connection? Was it "Securing the Rhealm" or something of that nature?
