How Many References Today To Clarke and His Book?
I'm just guessing that at least 40 references have been made in today's testimony about Richard Clarke's book. I think tomorrow morning, when Mr. Clarke is questioned, we will see the most important hour and a half of television ever shown in the USA. Richard Clarke has the opportunity tomorrow morning to put the knife right between the shoulder blades of the Bu$h administration. I wish him well.

By the way, I bought his book last night and have got about half way though it. The first chapter, which is a replay of the events of 9-11 and 9-12 in the White house is outstanding. The book is suprisingly well written. The second chapter gives a good thumbnail history of the terror we face today and its origin. Folks, this whole mess was started by Reagan.

If you get the chance try to read the book. If you do nothing else tune in tomorrow or watch the replays that are sure to be shown on CSpan and elsewhere. This is history in the making.

1. Will Clarke be testifying under oath?
I'm curious because if he is then he can back up with documents or witnesses everything he tells them.

2. I Believe So
I believe that everyone that goes before the comission is under oath, except of course that Bush and Cheney have refused to testify under Oath.

5. If so and he says some of the same things that are in his book
Then the wingnuts will have to say he is in contempt and it will be up to them to prove it! Of course they would not be able to so they won't try.

I do hope that BushCo is coming to a grinding halt. At least the idea that they are the real security experts here.

6. I heard on CSPAN that he's supposed to be on at 2:00 EST
which would be 11:00 Pacific.
