We must be ready
Even if we win in '04, we won't be out of the woods just yet. The enemy has poured millions of dollars and years of work to gain the amount of power that they hold now. They have proven time and time again that they have no desire to abide by the rules of civlity and due process set down by the Founding Fathers. They have shown, based on the recall fight here in California and in the attempted impeachment of Bill Clinton in '98 that they are willing to ignore the results of democratic elections if it stands in the way of their pursuit of power. Even if we pull off a solid victory in '04, do not expect the GOP to take that kind of defeat lying down. My best guess of what they will do is make every effort to stall the workings of government at the very least so that they will have an easier time making a grasp for power in '08, at the very worst will go underground and start making efforts to sieze power by force. I would not be surprised if they try to do that. Thus, we must be ready for absolutely ANYTHING after the inauguration in Januray of 2005. We will have won a key battle, but the war will be just beginning. They will not give in until they are flushed out of every little pocket of resistance they hold. Forty years ago, even twenty-five, if the GOP lost they took it well and prepared for the next election. They actually helped this country at times.

No more.

They have declared all forms of progressive and liberal thought to be their enemy and have declared undying war on those. They will not surrender, they will not give in until they who have declared this war have their power and resources destroyed completely and totally. We must not, under any circumstances, sink to their level. If we do so, then we will have lost the war to our enemies by becoming them.

Make ready, for war is coming.

1. You are wrong
Nobody ever won anything by not fighting back. This is the reason those pigs are in power now. Our so called democratic party sat on their asses and did nothing. It was easy for the repuke takeover. No one fought back.

7. I am not saying we should not fight back
What I am saying is that in fighting back we should not sink into the gutter like they have.

2. even if we do get political power back...
they still OWN everything else...They have all of the non political power in the country...The own everything...We will not really win until we own some of the non-governmental power positions (thinktanks, mutli billion $$ corps, etc).

8. We need political power first
That is the one we have the best chance of re-taking. After that we can draw up a new game plan to get them out of the other places so that they will never threaten this nation's freedoms or any nation ever again.

6. It is a war of ideas
This is a war where ideas are the main ammunition. The only victory will be that of which all people will regain their voice in governmental process and freedom is restored. All will win if that is the outcome. Defeat is something I would rather not contemplate.
