New Pro-Bill Gates Argument - We need him to outsource jobs!
I was arguing with some idiot who thinks Bill Gates is a great guy. He insulted me with the usual stupid argument - Microsoft provides lots of jobs.

I explained the stupidity of his argument, noting that, if Microsoft suddenly vanished, the giant sucking sound it left behind would be instantly replaced by countless companies that would probably provide even more jobs and make better software to boot. I also noted that Microsoft outsources many jobs.

So he replied that Indians need jobs, too, and Microsoft is doing a good deed by employing them.

Could the Microsofties get any more absurd? I mean, do we really need Microsoft to outsource jobs? Surely, there are other high-tech firms that are perfectly capable of outsourcing jobs, if that's what we really want.

They could probably take over Bill Gates' role as philanthropy czar, too, if they had billions of dollars to throw away as tax write-offs and incentives to buy Microsoft products.

Doesn't anybody in this country THINK???

1. No, of course not. They don't start to think
until their job gets outsourced. Then all the liberal ideas that they constantly scorned become their only means of survival.
